It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Bumgarner Proctor of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on September 5, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Bumgarner and Beulah Willis Bumgarner; her husband Everette Proctor; her children, Everette A. Proctor and Juanita Keller; her grandson David Tyler Proctor; and her sisters, Ruby, Rada and Ruth.

She is survived by: her son David Proctor (Kimberly Baker); her grandchildren, Andy Keller, Michael Keller and Kristina Proctor; her great grandchildren, Mckenzie Taylor, Andy Wayne Keller II, McKenna, Brayden Brooks and Ryker Adenau; and her siblings, Jack Bumgarner and Lois Chapman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
