She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Edgar Williams, Jr. and Helen Hargett Williams. She is survived by: her daughters, Lindsey Jo Spinks (Wesley) and Caroline Rietz (Kevin); her grandchildren, Piper, Ryder Spinks and Abigail Rietz; and her siblings, Rebecca Tyndall (Ron), Brenda Card (Dave) and Robert Williams (Martha).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Peggy's name to The Alexander County Animal Shelter or The American Cancer Society Brain Cancer Foundation.
