She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Hughes Waters and Virginia Carlton Waters; her brother Frederick Hughes Waters; and her half-sister Phyllis Walker Jolly. She is survived by: her siblings, William Max Waters (Bessie) and Ena Waters Holman (Jim). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews were the grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greer-McElveen Funeral Home (725 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kings Creek Baptist Church at 4698 Kings Creek Church Road, Lenoir, NC 28645.
