He is survived by: his children, Paul Gaither Jr. of Hickory, NC, Wanda Gaither of Hickory, NC, Rodney Gaither of Hickory, NC, Belinda Gaither of Arizona, Sidney Rice of Seattle, WA, Alexis Clifton of Hickory, NC, Haley Gaither of Hickory, NC and Brandon Gaither of Hickory, NC; and his siblings, Bennett Robinson (Shirley) of Fayetteville, NC, Jackie Robinson of Hickory, NC, Barabas Jones of Philadelphia, PA and Debra Shouford of Hickory, NC.. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Clinton Tabernacle AME Zion Church (485 Catawba Valley Blvd SE, Hickory, NC 28602). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Clinton Tabernacle AME Zion Church (480 Catawba Valley Blvd SE, Hickory, NC 28602).
