He was predeceased by: his parent Rema Jean Smithson; and his wife Teresa Holmes Fosnow. He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Jackson and Sheila Kerby; and his friend Eli McKown. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jenkins Funeral Home (4081 Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658).
