Neng Xiong Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Neng Xiong of Hickory, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Neng shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Neng farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Boua Lue Xiong and Ka Yeng Lee; her husband Nhia Xiong Thao; and her daughter Maiv Vue Thao. She is also survived by her 6 sons, 5 daughters, 3 daughters in law, 5 sons in law, 29 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
A burial was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at the Catawba Memorial Park (3010 U. S. Hwy 70 SW, Hickory, NC 28602). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Catawba Funeral Home (3060 US Hwy 70 SE, Hickory, NC 28602).
