She was predeceased by: her parents, George William Price and Emma Lovins Price; her sons, Curtis Stewart Payne, Sr. and Jeffrey Allan Payne; and her siblings, Nora Price, Dolly Price, Barbara Price, Wilma Price, Dennis Price, Bruce Price, Maynard Price, John Price, Henry Price and Bennie Price.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Bill Payne, Curtis Payne, Jr., Jonathan Payne and Jordan Payne; her great great grandchild Easton Payne; her siblings, Audrey Price and Gary Price; and her niece Kathy Cummings. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home (1031 11th Ave Blvd SE, Hickory, NC 28602). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
