As we bid adieu to Murlee Wittenberg's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Murlee Wittenberg has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ransom David Wittenberg and Letha Jemima Price Wittenberg; her former husband Grady Elmer Propes; her husband James Dudley Moore; and her son Rodney Addell Propes.
She is survived by: her daughter Tamara Leigh Propes (Tammy); her granddaughter Miranda Propes Sprouse (David) of Nebo, N. C.; her great grandchild Evan Taylor Sprouse of Nebo, N. C.; and her nephew Ronnie Wittenberg (Linda) of Morganton, N. C.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Lutheran Church (9379 NC-127, Hickory, NC 28601). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
