It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred (Mickey) Shuford of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Clemmer and Mildred Wilfong Clemmer; her husband Charles Hunt Shuford; her daughter Mary Kathleen Shuford; and her sister Dotty McCord.
She is survived by: her children, Hunt Shuford (Grace), Laura Shuford (Harry Vanderlinden) and Robert Shuford (Marie); her grandchildren, Benjamin Shuford (Katelyn), Adria Shuford, Jones Barton and Avery Shuford; her great grandchild Sloane Elizabeth Shuford; her sister Betty Charles of Elkin, NC.; and her siblings-in-law, William B. Shuford of Gastonia and Virginia Shuford Yates (Tucker) of Blowing Rock, NC.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
