She was predeceased by: her parents, Takeo Iwanami and Yoshiko Tamura; her husband Peter Pinkney Rowe; her son Mitchell Takeo Rowe; and her stepmother Tomoko Iwanami.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Rowe of Hickory and Kathy Rowe Keener (Staley) of Hickory; her sister Chieko Watanabe; her daughter-in-law Rebecca Bandy Rowe of Hickory; her grandchildren, Peter Allen Rowe, William "Beau" Rowe, Laney Merrill (Josh), Sarah Keener Moretz (Shane Hasty), Katherine Keener Nye (Brandon) and Laura Geraldine Keener; her great grandchildren, Lily Moretz, Eva Grace Moretz, MacLaren Moretz, Sydney Nye and Brody Nye; and her sister-in-law Carol Rowe Smith (Larry). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
