He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lee Propst and Elizabeth "Libby" Cutting Propst. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Troutman Propst; his sons, Michael Propst of Hickory and Lee Propst (Tammy) of Apex, NC; his granddaughters, Brianna McGhee of Willow Spring, NC and Ashlee Propst of Philadelphia, PA.; and his sister Jenny Propst Lail (Gary). He is also survived by five nieces and a nephew.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hickory Funeral Home (1031 11th Ave Blvd SE, Hickory, NC 28602).
