He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses Uriah Cline and Naomi Ruth Austin Cline; and his siblings, Eugene Cline, Conley Cline, Leonard Cline, Bobby Cline, Larry Cline, Lena Belle Simmons and Willie Hood.
He is survived by: his wife Margery Spencer Cline; his children, Janie Cline Lookadoo (Boyce), Dane A. Cline (Phyllis S.) of Hickory, Steven P. Cline (Melissa C.), Mark L. Cline (Kimberly W.), Timothy R. Cline (Jenny M.) and Ricky L. Cline (Nannette C.); and his siblings, Violet Deal of Hickory, Patricia Hefner of Taylorsville, Carolyn Hines (David) and Fred Cline (Helen) of Asheville. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
