She is survived by: her children, Donna Bess Spicer (Ernest Boom), Mark Allen Bess (Felicity) of Grace Chapel and Randy Melford Bess (Connie) of Connelly Springs; and her brother Ron Adams (Helen) of Nashville, TN.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren.
