We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2019, at the age of 96, Lex Calvin (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lex Calvin to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Dewey Wright and Margaret Ellen Swink Wright; his daughter-in-law Martha Wright; his wife Mary Alice Sigmon Wright; and his children, Jolene Wright Houston (Jim) of Icard, NC, Betty Wright Fox (Nick) of Vale, NC and Larry Wright of Hildebran, NC. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to Midway Baptist Church, 9076 Wilson Rd., Hildebran, NC 28637.
