It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Randolph Sprouse Sr. (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Govan Sprouse and Mary Lou Workman Sprouse; his wife Elizabeth Gail Sprouse; and his sisters, Regina Drum and Gail Starnes.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Randolph Sprouse, Jr. (Linda) and Dawn Elizabeth Chapman (Rick); his siblings, Dexter Sprouse, Rick Sprouse, Nina Smith, Connie Finger and Faye Suggs; his grandchildren, Jason Sprouse, Ashley Douglas, Corey Wiles and Lauren Sheets; and his great grandchildren, Nolan Sprouse, Julian Sprouse, Morgan Douglas and Zara Sheets.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (547 6th St NW, Hickory, NC 28601).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 547 6th St. NW, Hickory, NC 28601.
