He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Woodrow Day and Georgia Ruth Day; and his nephew Phillip Christopher. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Day; his children, Larry Michael Day (Jennifer) and Kim Paysour (John); his brother Gene Day; his grandchildren, Kendall Paysour, Chase Day (Tyler) and Matthew Paysour (Savannah); his great grandchildren, Hudson Paysour and Eleanor Day; his siblings, Jack Day, Pat Griffin and Lillie Mae Day; and his nephew Eric. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at 130 16th St SE, Hickory, NC 28602. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the same location.
