Watts; his daughters, Kate Ashworth (Todd) and Beth Rogers (Matt); his grandchildren, Ivey Rogers, Mackenzie and TJ Ashworth; and his sister Mary Ellen Furkey (Pete) of Denville, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (547 6th St NW, Hickory, NC 28601). Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:45 PM at the same location.
