He was predeceased by: his parents, Joao F. Ornelas and Rosa Maria Caires Ornelas; and his wife Maria Alda Teixeira Ornelas. He is survived by: his sons, John Ornelas (Cathy) of Pawtucket, RI, Mike Ornelas (Michelle) of Pawtucket, RI, Paul Ornelas (Erica) of Pawtucket, RI and Luis Ornelas (Fred) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Tiffany Ornelas, Justin Ornelas, Jordan Dumas and Jordan Ornelas; and his great grandchildren, Harper Martel and Beau Dumas. He is also survived by two sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.
