She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Robinson and Sara McMahan Robinson; and her husband Frank Hollifield. She is survived by: her children, Pam Solarek (Don), Joey Hollifield (Stacy), Riley Hollifield (Kathy), Vicki Cooper, Judy Hollifield (Danny Jones), Billy Hollifield (Christy) and Bobby Hollifield; her grandchildren, Bradley Williams (Jenni), Shell Hollifield (Jonathan Norris), Alissa Willis (David Huffman), Kaitlyn Hollifield, Abby Hollifield, Harlee Hollifield, Noah Hollifield, Amber Blake (Levi), Jamie Lewis (Brooke), Riley Hollifield (Kelsey), Anthony Cooper (Charlean) and Kacey Cooper; and her great grandchildren, Cora, Adalynn, Cash, Justice, Abigail, Ella, Buretta and Annika. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Email (501 E Main St, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at the Gouge's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (2231 Old N C 226, Spruce Pine, NC 28777).
