It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Harold Withers of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Jay Harold's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jay Harold has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin D. R. Withers and Patricia Elizabeth Newton Withers; his sister JoAnn Savory; and his nephew David Darty. He is survived by: his children, Josh Withers of Hickory, Jay Withers, Jr. of Hickory and Samantha Hubbard (Donnie Walker); and his brother James Withers of Connelly Springs.
