He is survived by: his daughters, Miriam Theresa Boydstone McIntyre (Stephen) and Dorothea Marie Boydstone Schulze (Martin); his grandchildren, Kathryn McIntyre Markwell (Clinton), Margaret Ruth McIntyre, James Brandon McIntyre (Lauren), Baylen Luis Andres Parada and Ashley Marie Isabel Parada; his great grandchildren, Cara James McIntyre and Brynn Elizabeth McIntyre; his nephew Joseph Oscar Boydstone, III (Aubry); his great-nephew Clyde Allen Amerson; and his great-nieces, Kinsey Lara Boydstone, Taylor Larkey Williams and Theresa Alexandra Boydstone.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or the Toys for Tots in James' name.
