She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Underwood and Elsie Costner Underwood; her husband Mike Canipe; and her brother Dennis Underwood. She is survived by: her sons, Mickey Farris, Jr. of Granite Falls, Jeremy Farris of Newton and Joshua Farris of Hickory; her stepdaughter Michelle Canipe of Hildebran; and her sisters, Carolyn Kinney of Clemmons and Mary Cansler of Hickory. She is also survived by Eight grandchildren and one great grandchild, a number of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
