She is survived by: her daughters, Tammi Houston (Matt) of Hickory and Tina Eckard of Hickory; her grandchildren, Jessica Beach Williams of Hickory, Tyler Eckard (Faith) of Durham, Murphey Houston (Kristin) of Winston Salem, Bailey Eckard of Hickory, Zachary Houston (Taylor) of Winston Salem and Courtney Houston (Eddie Taylor) of Hickory; her great grandchildren, Walker, Emery Houston, Braxton, Landon and Scarlett Williams; and her sister Debbie Buchanan (Harold) of High Point, NC..
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Stephens Lutheran Church (2304 Springs Rd NE, Hickory, NC 28601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Catawba Memorial Park (3060 US-70, Hickory, NC 28602).
