It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Mae (Fox) Abernethy of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Fox and Mamie Martin Fox; and her husband Wyate Marcus Abernethy. She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Cline (Tim) of Newton, Teresa Harrow (Dennis) of Taylorsville and Nelda Miller (Bryan) of Conover; and her grandchildren, Erin Weaver (Joe) of Conover, Stacy Tucker, Keri Cline, Eric Hull of Clemmons, Kelley Tramble (Tyler) of Taylorsville, Travis Cline (Joyce) of Newton, Brett Cline of New York, Trey Miller (Hannah) of Kannapolis and Isaac Harrow (Rita) of Indian Trail. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
