With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eunice C Eckard of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on July 17, 2024 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eunice C Eckard to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Woodrow Carico and Dorothy Munday Carico; her husband Steven Eckard; her son Chris Eckard; and her siblings, Janet Hager and Lynn Carico.

She is survived by: her stepmother Lucy Hager Carico; her son Chad Eckard (Annette Weaver); her grandchildren, Kaila Laws (Eric), Meghan Eckard, Steven Eckard and Avery Eckard; and her pet Dude. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Chris Eckard Scholarship, (checks made payable to Chris Eckard Scholarship) 151 Buck Hollow Road, Statesville, NC 28677.
