Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Leonard Norris Sr. (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away at the age of 86, on February 28, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses Norris and Annie Pauline Ledbetter Norris; his wife Linda Moretz Norris; his children, David Leonard Norris, Jr. and Linda Diana Fincannon; and his brothers, James Gilbert Norris and Thomas Wayne Norris.
He is survived by: his children, Jaymie Bodenheimer (Phillip) and Matthew Norris (Jacqueline); his siblings, Robert W. Norris, John Alan Norris, Ruth McDonald and Dorothy Virginia Donald; his grandchildren, Nicole Resendiz, Jeremiah Norris, Nicholas Crossno, Sarah Bodenheimer, Charlie Bodenheimer, Dustin Fincannon, Zachary Fincannon, Terri Testerman, Zoë Norris and Kydd Norris; and also Bill Honeycutt. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bethlehem Church of God (351 B and S Ln, Hickory, NC 28601). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at the same location.
