He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Otto Bishop and Julie Day Bishop; and his siblings, Alma Broome, Ruby Bowman, Lois Hoyle, Ruth Robinson, Oscar Bishop, Harold Bishop and Louis Bishop.
He is survived by: his wife Desola Bishop; his sons, Danny Lee Bishop (Karen), Randy Lee Bishop (Shannon) and Terry Shane Bishop (Elizabeth); and his grandchildren, Majerle Bishop, Jacob Bishop, Andrew Bishop, Corbin Bishop and Nicholas Bishop. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scout of America in care of Zion Lutheran Church 1911 Zion Church road in honor of David Bishop.
