With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Frye of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on April 20, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal Ray Frye and Vera Frye. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Elaine Frye of Hickory; his children, Dayna Carney (Richard) of Ashburn, VA and Darren Frye of Hickory; the mother of his children Mary Frye of Conover; his nephews, Bradley Harris and Todd Frye (Teresa) of Claremont; his siblings, Lynn Frye (Linda) of Conover, Trenia Monk (Harry) of Hickory and Karen Wilkerson (Hugh) of Hickory; his sister-in-law Gail Harris of Hickory; and his grandsons, Andrew Carney of Florida and Noah Carney (Heather) of Florida. He is also survived by his friends and family.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations go to Plateau Community Church.
