He was predeceased by: his parents, David Junior Ellis and Linnie Jeanette Crews Ellis; and his sister Patty Anne Ellis Brady. He is survived by: his daughters, Katelyn Ellis (Nathan Iseman) of Onley, VA and Carrie Adkins of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Lukas Iseman, Savannah Adkins, Carissa Adkins, Isaiah Iseman and Zachary Adkins; his brother Ben Ellis of Lenoir; his nephew Logan Ellis; and his nieces, Chelsie Ellis and Olivia Brady.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service (35 Duke St, Granite Falls, NC 28630).
