Though Betty Jo Watson may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Watson and Edna Helton Watson; her husband Ralph H. Kirby (Pete); and her sister Shirley Cooper. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Kirby (Judy) of Catawba, Michael Kirby (Sherry) of Gastonia, Jan Harris (Joel) of Newton and Kelli Kaylor (Jeff) of Claremont; her sister Shelby Caldwell of New Hampshire; and her pet Zoe. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
