With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Ann Moran of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on March 29, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Charles Thomas and Mae Esther Watson Thomas; her daughter Teresa Ann Young; and her sister Judy Thomas Sheets. She is survived by: her children, James Young, Timothy Moran and Kimberly Moran; and her sisters, Elaine Thomas, Kay Clark, Margaret Cox and Martha Thomas.
