She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Sletten and Millie Wagner Dudeck; and her former husband Terry Lockwood. She is survived by: her husband Larry Bowman; her children, Andrew Lockwood (Paige) of Wasilla, AK, Rebecca Lockwood of Newton and Jessica Crockett (Paul) of Raleigh; her sister Janyce Sletten of Virginia; and her grandchildren, Haley Lockwood, Hank Crockett, Zachary Crockett, Gavin Crockett, Terry Lockwood, Olivia Lockwood, Will Lockwood, Maria Bowman and Emmanuel Bowman.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Christ Church (2350 Springs Rd NE, Hickory, NC 28601). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
