She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Emerson and Ira Rebecca Copeland Perry; her husbands, John Nurney Wiggins, Jr. and Louis Joseph "Lou" Amato; and her siblings, Bessie Sawyer, Lessie Amato, Viola Overman, Lucy Jennings, Madeline Langley, Alice Louise Perry and Rudolph Perry.
She is survived by: her sons, Johnny Dwayne Wiggins (Lorraine) of Hobbsville, Gerald of Hertford and Reginald Wiggins of Hertford; her siblings, Lenona Perry of Hertford, T. E. Perry of Hobbsville, Curtis Perry of Hertford and Joe Perry of Tyner; and her stepchildren, Jackie Poarch, Ronald, Steve and Robert Amato. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
