It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mollie Wheeler Belch of Hertford, North Carolina, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Paul and Elizabeth Miller Wheeler; her husband James Waverly Belch; the father of her children Oscar Bunch, Jr.; her son Noah Bunch; her siblings, Alice Faye Wheeler, Richard, James, Alec Paul and Paul Ray Wheeler; her grandchildren, Chelsea and Noah, Jr.; and her great grandchild Winslow.
She is survived by: her children, Janet of Hertford, Faye Bunch of Hertford, Paul Bunch (Gina) of Raleigh and James Bunch (Ella) of Hertford. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews.
Flowers are welcomed, or memorial contributions may be made either to the Perquimans County Center for Active Living, 1072 Harvey Point Road, or the Perquimans County Library, 514 S. Church Street, both in Hertford, NC 27944.
