We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2024, at the age of 80, Linda Ann Clark Minton of Hertford, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Linda Ann Clark may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Linda Ann Clark touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Girlie Clark and Allie Mae Vaughan Clark. She is survived by: her children, James Carlton Minton, Jr. of Elizabeth City, NC, Kimberly Kirby (Pat) of Cofield, NC and Jeffrey Minton (Marie) of Aulander, NC; her grandchildren, Kayley Minton (Edward Bradley) of Ahoskie, NC, Abbey Minton (Colin Brock) of Como, NC, Patrick Kirby (Amber) of Bethel, NC, Dustin Kirby of Cofield, NC and Jaxson Minton (Mady Wiechel) of Como, NC.; her sister Sadie Blackmon of San Diego, CA; and her granddaughter Wendy Minton of Como, NC. She is also survived by close friends, many beloved cousins, nephews, granddogs, and grandcats.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service. A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ahoskie Cemetery.
