With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julia Ann Bundy Onley (Hertford, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Clyde, Sr. and Julia Miller Bundy; her husband Aubrey Edward Onley, Sr.; and her siblings, Hazel Bell, Frances Perry, John, Woodley and Calvin Bundy.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Ward (Jerry) of Tyner and Aubrey Onley, Jr. (Sheila) of Hertford; her grandchildren, Justin Ward (Erica), Julie Byrum (Neil), Rachel O'Kelley (Zack), Ryan Onley (Payton) and Darin Onley (Jordyn); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Aubree Lynn Ward, Tucker, Addy Byrum, Grace and Lela Rae O'Kelley; and her caregiver Shirley Rankins.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cedarwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Grove Methodist Church, in care of Monica Thornton, 418 Lake Road, or to Durant's Neck Vol.
