He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friend Linda Bond; his children, Howard Jr. (Shanesha) of Raleigh, Markeetah Capehart, Kevin Alexander of Edenton, NC, Edward Bond and Alex Bond of Raleigh, NC; his great grandchildren, Ty'Jira Capehart, Damani Boston, Qaiser Capehart, I, Sekani Cofield and De'Andre Privott Jr.; his siblings, William, Samuel (Carolyn), James, Nathan (Stacey), Emma of Edenton, NC, Rosie of Edenton, NC and Lisa of Edenton, NC; and his close friends, Sylvester Armstead, James "Monroe" White and George Downing. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
