With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Hilirion Campbell of Hertford, North Carolina, born in Franklin, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David Hilirion left this world on June 2, 2024 at the age of 69, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Stanley Allen Campbell and Mary Irene Poole Campbell; his wife Sheryl Lott Campbell; his son Jesse Campbell (Ritvika); his stepson Joel Biondi (Shelby); his siblings, Dottie Campbell Harcum and Joseph Campbell; and his grandchildren, Canaan, Vera, Gideon and Thea.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home (1125 Harvey Point Rd, Hertford, NC 27944).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, an organization Dave donated to annually.
