She was predeceased by: her parents, John Raymond Moore and Hilda Harrison Sawyer; her husband Robert Douglas; her children, Sheryl Naylor, Karen Sawyer and David Sawyer; and her siblings, Delbert Harrison and Nell Chapman.
She is survived by: her children, Ronda Forbes (Rusty) of Hertford, Connie White (Roscoe) of Hertford, Bobby Sawyer (Charlie) of St. Louis, MO and Johnny Sawyer (Tammy) of Elizabeth City; her son-in-law Jimmy Naylor of Hertford; and her sister Bertha Gallop of Elizabeth City. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
