She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Allen Simpson and Melba Oral Weese; and her brother Jerry Simpson. She is survived by: her siblings, Raymond Simpson of Forest City, Helen White of Henrietta, Darlene Padgett of Ellenboro and Ann Padgett (Mitchell Owens) of Forest City. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harrelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1251 US Hwy 221a, Forest City, NC 28043).
