As Wayne Carson departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Wayne Carson may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Wayne Carson leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Miller and Joyce Witherspoon Brown. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Jamieson Brown; his children, David Miller Brown of Knightdale, NC and Kathryn Morris Bruenn (Patrick) of Goldsboro, NC; his granddaughter Hayley Adair Bruenn; and his brother Sanford Miller Brown (Randy Chapple) of Charlotte, NC.. He is also survived by many cousins, several brothers and sisters-in-law and some very special friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services (731 Roanoke Ave, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
The family has requested that in-lieu of flowers, contributions be made to a charity close to one's heart.
