He was predeceased by: his parents, William Toth and Jean Davidson Toth; his wife Alberta Toth; his sons-in-law, William "Rocky" Fields and Charles Schwartz; and his sister Frances Schiffer.

He is survived by: his children, William A. Toth (Vicki) of Staunton, VA, Lorraine Schwartz of Weaverville, NC, Carolyn Fields of Mars Hill, NC and Amy Allen of Sebastian, FL; his grandchildren, Kelley Fox, Ben Dumont, Amanda Spencer, Emily Toth, Nicole Kieber and William A. Toth, II; his stepgrandchildren, Chris Fields and Derek Martin; his great grandchildren, Austin Howell, Wyatt, Colton, Deklan Kieber and William A. Toth, III; and his sisters, Jean Cetra (Tony) and Margaret Cole (Joseph). He is also survived by cousins, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
