He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Curtis Odell Garren and Irma Garren; his wife Maryanne Garren; his daughters, Maryanne "Minnie" Garren of Lexington, NC and Dr. Theresa Garren-Grubbs (Kyle Grubbs) of Elkton; his grandchildren, Daisey, Amelia, Louie, Laura, Gertrude and Alfie; his brother Tom Garren (Daphne) of Cary, NC; his cousin David Guice; and his son Mickey.
