It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Waverly Sykes (Hendersonville, North Carolina), born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on March 18, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla; his children, Phyllis Mesec (Chip), Mary Hawkins (Adam) and Michael Sykes (Karen); and his siblings, Pat Sykes, Brenda Riley (Mike) and Bill Sykes (Marty). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
