It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Gillespie of Hendersonville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 15, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Edith Stubbs of Charlotte; and her adoptive parents, Anna Kratzer and Joseph Kratzer of Milroy. She is survived by: her sons, Robert John Gillespie (Claire) and Thomas L. Gillespie (Deborah); and her grandchildren, Lora Mollo (Andrew), Emily Gillespie, Zachary Gillespie and Evan Gillespie (Chelsea). She is also survived by six great grandchildren, and friends.
