He is survived by: his significant other Beth Webb Smathers; his children, Amanda Smathers, Lauren Hawkins (Justin), Chastity Lafferty (Jon) and Lisa Jones (Jesse); his grandchildren, Gwyndolyn, Raegan, Remi Lee, Jordan (Emily), Kaitlyn, Matthew, Jesse and Jaylee; his great grandchildren, Eva and Freyja; his siblings, Ronnie Lloyd Smathers (Linda), Elaine Smathers (Mike), Dawn Conard (Robert) and Larry Erwin; and his stepfather Edward Danny Berry.
