He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Joseph Hansel and Margaret Victoria McGinnis Hansel; and his brothers, Richard Hansel, Mitchell Hansel and Walter Hansel.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Gurley Hansel; his sister Dale Ann Hansel Caldwell; his brother-in-law Timmy Caldwell; his niece Lori Caldwell; his nephews, Tim Caldwell Jr., Jonathan Caldwell and Phillip Caldwell (Laura); his great-niece Harley Caldwell Ladd (C. J.); his great-nephew Khristian Caldwell; his children, Paula Reisig Ruis (Allen), Betsy Reisig Bullins (Tim), Robert Reisig Jr. (Kelly) and Kim Weintraub; his grandchildren, Ashley Bullins Ellington (Cleve), Joe Bullins (Kirsten), Ashley Ruis (Tristan), Bluu Reine, Thomas, William, George and David Reisig; his great grandchildren, Kayden Friddle, Owen and Gabe Ellington; and also, Bo Ladd and Timmy Ladd.
Even in the middle of the covid pandemic, this relationship flourished and was pure joy.
