He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Alice; his parents, Sheldon Albert Young and Jennie Hickman Young; and his children, Tamra Lynn Rogers and Greg Layne Young.
He is survived by: his son Sheldon Keith Young; his grandsons, Jacob Rogers, Justin Rogers (LaShea) and Cody Rogers (Christen); and his great grandchildren, Maddilyn Rogers and Colbie Rogers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home (538 Tracy Grove Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
