She was predeceased by: her parents, Medford John Cooper and Junievee Redden Cooper; her husband Arthur H. Rubin; her siblings, Lorene Gossett, Tommy Cooper, Sybil Kimbrell, Ruth Shepherd and Johnny "Bubby" Cooper; her son-in-law Brian Morgan; her daughters, Wendy Morgan of Doughboy's Doughnuts and Amy Rubin (Chris); and her grandsons, Jared Morgan-Newpher (Evan) and AJ Morgan (Regan).
She is survived by: her sister Naomi Hollifield.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (538 Tracy Grove Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Living Water Baptist Church (1284 Sugarloaf Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Living Water Church (1284 Sugarloaf Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792).
