She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Ward and Lena Welch Ward; her brother Marion A. "Jack" Ward; and her close friend Frank Mintiens. She is survived by: her children, Donald Larson of Virginia Beach, VA, David Larson (Connie) of Winston-Salem, NC, Danny Larson (Crystal) of Gastonia, NC and Denise Burns of Gardner, NC. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
